Damus means “we give” in Latin. The founders of Damus have all been involved and are still involved, in various guises, with philanthropic giving and charity.
Damus has a uniquely philanthropic approach to corporate finance by donating 15% of its profit from an exit in a Company to charity. The donation is made to a charity linked to the sector in which the company operates.
Sustainability encompasses a broad range of issues that may have a material impact on the risk/return characteristics of our investments. The team at Damus Capital, has worked to embed sustainability across the investment and management process. We consider risks and opportunities, using data to inform the establishment of ambitions objectives and targets.
